Online GP Learning
Cancer screening is a new online interactive learning module which was developed by National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre* in collaboration with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and Cancer Council Australia. Hosted on the RACGP's online learning platform, gplearning, it is an evidence-based educational module designed to support the central role that GPs play in discussing and managing cancer screening, including providing evidence-based information to patients so they can make an informed choice about participation in screening. The module covers screening principles and how they apply to population-based screening for cervical, breast and bowel cancers, and also includes information on surveillance of high-risk patients and counselling patients about appropriate cancer screening.

Managing Breast Symptoms is an online interactive learning module which was developed in collaboration with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and is hosted on the RACGP's online learning platform, gplearning. It is an educational module designed for GPs, breast physicians and practice nurses, focusing on breast cancer and benign breast problems such as breast cysts, mastalgia, fibroadenomas and nipple discharge.

General Practitioner Education Series
The General Practitioner Education Series provides a series of evidence-based, topic-specific workshop modules for implementation through the Divisions of General Practice.The General Practitioner Education Series modules have been accredited as an RACGP QA&CPD Category 2 activity.
Module topics
- Investigating a new breast symptom: designed to maximise the effectiveness of investigation of patients who present to their GP with new breast symptoms.
- Assessing symptoms that may be ovarian cancer: aims to provide GPs with an understanding of best practice relating to the assessment of symptoms that may be ovarian cancer.
- Younger women and breast cancer: designed to assist GPs in supporting younger women with breast cancer by raising awareness of the particular issues faced by younger women and highlighting best practice in relation to management of the disease in younger women.
