This online tool has been developed to enable breast diagnostic services to self assess their practices against the NBOCC Standard of care for breast diagnostic services. The online tool is available to all services offering the triple test to investigate a breast symptom or abnormality.
Before starting the online tool
Have you:
- Read the instructions for completing the online tool
- Reviewed the Standard information on NBOCC’s website
- Reviewed the Standard of care for breast diagnostic services document
- Reviewed a hard copy pdf version of the online tool. You are encouraged to review this document prior to commencing the online survey tool
- Collected evidence and documentation for each self-assessment tool question including evidence which supports current practice of each key process statement
For EQuIP users:
The NBOCC standard of care for breast diagnostic services has been mapped across to the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards EQuIP 4 program. Cross references are made within the standard and throughout the online self-assessment tool.
